Dear Families
I am just reaching out with an early newsletter to share a few important details about this busy last week. We are certainly packing in plenty of fun in these last three and a half days. A big thank you to the P&F group that have been kept busy coordinating the Easter Raffle and Hot Cross Buns. Thanks also to everyone who purchased buns and raffle tickets, as well as everyone who donated to the raffle. Special thanks to Justin Presley who organised a significant donation through Woolworths. Fingers crossed that the tickets I purchased for my wife and daughter are lucky tickets and that any potential winnings actually make it home.
The weather looks like smiling on us all week as we come to together to share Athletics Day as well as Stations of the Cross....... and also to give the builders a good run of conditions leading into the long weekend.
Please take the time to read through this short newsletter to note all the important dates and times, especially in regards the END OF TERM 1 and the START OF TERM 2. Also please be aware of the importance of communication when picking up your children early from Athletics and Stations of the Cross - we don't want to lose anyone!
Wishing everyone a relaxing school holidays and a blessed Easter.
Dave

The current plan is for the building works to be completed over the school holiday break. External works may hold up completion of the project as could the weather, staffing or if outside contractors fail to meet their expected work plans. These past few weeks have been so exciting when I have attended various site meetings and get to see all the child safe and special features of the project.
The plan currently is to:
- Start Term 2 using existing procedures
- Adjust to changes in carpark
- Move Admin from their current position into their new space over the first week
- Conduct assemblies and work-thrus with students to learn our new procedures
- From Monday Week 2 (1st May) we will operate out of the new Administration area
Once operational .....
- Morning arrival will continue through the existing door
- Late Arrivals/Early Pick-up happens through the new admin area directly from the Rowell Street entrance
- Afternoon Dismissal will continue through the existing door via the ramp or new staircase.
Fingers crossed the next few weeks are productive for all our tradies!
St.Vincent's has a proud history of supporting the various fund-raisers for our local Morwell RSL Sub-Branch. Already across these past weeks we have sold-out of ANZAC Day badges and needed to request a 'top-up' of our box.
We will continue to have badges on sale at the school until the end of term. Prices range from $1 to $5.
Thank you to those students and families that have already made a purchase.
